Shuckin Rock

Wow, the past few years have been full of blood, sweat, & tears while working on our front yard. When we first bought the house it was full of half dead grass, giant man-eating weeds, and wild 5' tall rose bushes. We ripped the rose bushes out with the help of Jaason Stull's Blazer & the Guymon's caterpillar...couldn't have done it without the help. Matt spent many days last year digging out all the grass and weeds. Over the winter the front was just dirt...better than weeds I say. So.....whoop, whoop, we have been working our little tails off getting the front in ship-shape. Well, Matt has been working a lot more than I. I've been doing more on the veggie garden and back yard. He installed a drip system, planted everything and shucked all the rock (& Peter!) into the landscaping. This is all really Matt's design and hard work...I just gave the okay on some ideas. Oh, and shucking rock means shoveling rock, not some sort of golf term...(Kate). Here are a few pics of the progress!
