G-G
Today my Glorious Grandmother (G-G) passed away peacefully in her sleep. I'm so sad to hear the news, but I know I will see her again someday. We had a close relationship and frequently had long conversations about life, love and everything in between. I know most of my design flair, dramatic story telling and creative talents came from G-G. Everyone tells me I'm a lot like her and she even told me that I reminded her of herself as a young woman. What a great compliment. I love you G-G, and will miss you so much!

Old Navy Shopping Spree
I'm so sick of wearing maternity clothes. Why can't I fit in my regular stuff? Shoot! I keep trying on my jeans hoping they will fit. Happy to say that I can at least get them on and button them, but if I bent over they might split in the rear end. And forget about wearing some of my old shirts...they don't even come close to fitting, oh the joys of nursing a baby! So...I gave in and went to Old Navy on a shopping spree. It was very fun and Felix was a great shopping partner (he slept the entire time!). Old Navy is having a huge spring sale and I got a boat load of new things for $100.00, of course I had to buy big girl sizes, but at least I'm in some new things and feel a bit more like my old self.

Don't Mess With Heber!
Okay, so my sis got a phone call from the principles office the other day. Heber was in the slammer! Guess this bully of a kid was pushing him around on the playground and Heber jumped his ass. Heber is a green belt in Tae Kwon-Do and he totally busted some moves. Watch out, Heber don't take no lip from anyone! Wish I could see a hidden video of what really went down.

Ukrainian Eggs
This past weekend Ashlie organized a Ukrainian Egg decorating day! It was so much fun. We have made Ukrainian eggs before, but it's been a few years. The boys were very detailed in decoration...Henry and Heber had sayings like "Mario" and "Luigi" on their eggs. If you've ever done batik before, it's the same concept-wax and color dyes. It's great because you can spend hours on one egg, but it will last forever....or until it accidentally breaks!

Sleep Through The Static
Okay, I can't even tell you how much I love Jack Johnson. He is da bomb! His new album rocks- "Sleep through The Static". Thanks Sarah for burning me a copy. I've listened to it about a million times and I only just got it a few days ago. Ya know who also loves it?....Felix! I think he likes JJ so much because I listened to all his different albums while pregnant....A LOT! I was in the car and Felix got so mad and started to scream, so I slipped in the C.D. & all was calm. Sarah mentioned on her blog that Jack Johnson's music has such a summery sound, it's so true. I can't help but dream about Hawaii and summertime while listening, is that suntan oil I smell?
