Arctic Tale

Okay peeps this is the cutest movie I have seen in a long time. I laughed, smiled, cried & held my breath all in the same movie. It's a National Geographic documentary about the life of a small polar bear and walrus. Too cute! I recommend it to all. It's kind of fun snuggling up watching this arctic documentary while the snow is flying outside :)

Big Boy Chair

We really needed to get Felix a high chair in the worst way. He was always squirming and getting out of his Bumbo seat and it was driving me nuts!! We found this cute little high chair at Ikea for only $25.00 bucks and I'm loving it. He looks like such boy now, not so much a baby. Wipe a tear. Anyway, I thought I wanted a real fancy high chair, but this one is doing it's job and it looks cool and modern. We added on the tray as well :) Thanks Ikea!

Happy BIRTHDAY DaD!

Today is my Dad's birthday. What a special guy he is indeed! He is the ultimate vacation T.G. (tour guide) and loves to take us on adventures all over the globe. He is a scratch golfer, music lover and he saves lives for a living. Pretty cool. He is not ashamed to have tears in a sad movie, or to stand up for what he believes in. He loves to wrestle with his grandson's, go hiking with the dogs & chase sea turtles in Hawaii. He can be very serious or very silly, and always very loving. He opens things on the wrong end, ALWAYS is loosing his keys and he likes to make his own route on the closed freeways, yep that is my Dad! Happy Birthday Dad, I love you lots and lots.

It Happened!

Well folks it finally happened to us. Matt was layed off from his Mrs. Field sales job. Bummer. He just walked in the door on Tuesday at 2:00 and said he was done. We are kind of freakin out, but all things happen for a reason, right? He hated that stinkin job anyway so shove it Mrs. Fields! So anyhoo, I'm enjoying Matt being home and helping me with Felix and housework. Score! He has been applying for other jobs and I know without a doubt that he will find something great. I just feel it. He has also been talking with my Aunt Marilee about possibly taking over the cafe in Liberty Park (next to the concession stand). We had breakfast there like a million times last year and they also serve great lunches. It could be a fun venture. Matt is made to run a business. After two years, Marilee's contract with the city will be up and Matt could most likely take over the concession stand and rides. We just have to see what happens. It's in the hands of the universe and I trust where it will lead us.

Happy New Year!

Cheers to a happy, healthy and fun 2009! These are some pics from our New Years celebration in Denver with Matt's family. It was so nice to just relax, sleep in, eat and hang with the Robinson crew.
